Nanchang  Ya Dong Cement Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) was a joint venture company established by Jiangxi Ya Dong Cement Co., Ltd.
Ya Dong Holding Co., Ltd. and Fangda Special Steel Technology Co., Ltd. (previously Nanchang Changli Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.). The Company is located in the Changdong Industrial Zone in Nanchang City, with site area of approximately 150 mu and an investment amount of RMB180 million.

 


In response to the government’s policy to develop circular re-cycle economy, the Company effectively utilized “slag”, waste which is generated during steel making process by iron and steel companies. By grinding slag, the Company can produce annually 650,000 tonnes of slag powder, which the Company mixed with high-quality Skyscraper’s high-grade Portland cement to formulate PSA42.5, PSB32.5 and other types of premium Portland slag cement. In addition, since March 2009, the Company has started to use “fly-ash” from power plant to produce PC32.5 cement, to satisfy demand from customers in Nanchang and its surrounding areas for various kinds of cement under the “Skyscraper” brand.
